The early culinary society Societé des Cuisiniers
was established initially as a guild as early as in the
year 1903. It renewed its activity as Association of
Czechoslovak Chefs and Confectioners in 1990 and
after the dissolution of the federative republic it
reconstituted itself under a new name Association
of Chefs and Pastry Chefs of Czech Republic
(AKC ČR) in 1997.
