This is a three day course focusing the prevention and treatment of
posttraumatic complications. The course objectives include addressing the
principles of deformity correction with clinical and radiological evaluation,
preoperative planning, and tips & tricks on application of lengthening nails and
various external fixator systems.
Aims & Objectives
· At the end of the course the participans will understand: Prevention and
treatment of posttraumatic complications
· The principles of planning for lengthening of the femur or tibia with and
without deformity correction using lengthening nails
· The principles of external fixators using a computer program base six-axis
deformity analysis
