GRADING POLICY: Homework will be assigned but will not be collected. Your grade
will be determined as follows: Two midterm exams, 25% each, quizzes are 15%, and
the final exam, 35%. Proportional to your attendance to problem sessions (PS),
you will get up to 5% bonus. The quizzes will be given during PS.
ATTENDANCE: Students must attend at least 70% of all lectures according to Koç
University regulations. Therefore, missing 10 or more lectures (days with a
health report are also included) will result in an F grade. Students are also
expected to attend the problem sessions.
ACADEMIC HONESTY: Academic dishonesty, including cheating on exams is a serious
offense resulting in an F grade and disciplinary action.
