Mr. JOVAN P. POPOVIĆ, studied law at the University of Belgrade. Between 1977 and 200
he held positions of acting director and director of Archives of Yugoslavia. He also held a position
of ambassador of Federal Rebublic of Yugoslavia. After leaving the Archives of Yugoslavia he has
focused on advocacy, journalism and continued with archivistics. He is a member of law society,
archivists as well as librarians society, and historical society. He has received several national
and foreign awards, decorations and plaquettes. In 2007 he has received three awards: “Atlanti”
statuette, awarded by International Institute of Archival Science Trieste – Maribor; Universitas
Iuris Naturalis Copaonici award by Kopaonik School of Natural Law and honorary diploma
of VNIIDAD for “special contribution and scientific credit in the field of archival theory and
practice, as well as for active and successful cooperation with Russian archivists”. In 2009 he
received a diploma by International Institute of Archival Science Trieste – Maribor and “Listina”
award by Regional Archives Maribor (Pokrajinski arhiv Maribor) “for several years of active
cooperation in the field of collection and presentation of papers based on archival legislation of
various countries”. He has published some 150 papers in Serbian and foreign periodicals, and has
also written or co-written 15 scientific publications.
Dr. STEFANIA RUFFA, was born in Turin in 1969 and lives in Venice now. After achieving
her economic degree at Economic University in Torin, she began working for multinational
consultancy companies. First for Accenture (former Andersen Consulting), later for Ernst&Young
consultant and then for CapGemini group. She has always dealt mainly with management
processes, feasibility studies, Project Management, facility management mostly in the financial
field. She created Re-evolution (Advisory and Property Management of the Real Estate Found
“Lucrezio”) in 2007 where she is now partner and CEO. As an expert in Real Estate management
she follows investment advisory (technical, economical, legal and financial consultancy to optimize
any real estate investment), project management (planning and integrated management of project
activities) and property management (coordination of related activities). Stefania Ruffa speaks
fluently Italian, French and English.
Dr. sc. IZET ŠABOTIĆ, doc., Dugogodišnji direktor Arhiva Tuzlanskog kantona i profesor
na Filozofskom fakultetu Univerziteta u Tuzli. Autor je četiri knjige i četiri udžbenika, te više od
120 stručnih i naučnih radova iz oblasti arhivistike i historiografije, objavljenih u referentnim
časopisima u Bosni i Hercegovini i više zemalja Evrope. Učesnik je brojnih međunarodnih
naučnih i stručni skupova i projekata. Dvadeset godina aktivno sudjeluje u rješavanju pitanja iz
oblasti arhivistike i historije, kako u Bosni i Hercegovini, tako i inozemstvu. Za dosadašnji stručni
i naučni rad dobio je brojna priznanja i nagrade.
Mag. Dr. ELISABETH SCHÖGGL-ERNST, university for the teaching of history and social
sciences as well as Germanic philology as a teacher, at the same time PhD in history at the University
of Graz Karl Franz, postgraduate study at the Institut für Österreichische Geschichtsforschung of
Vienna and achievement of the Master of Advanced Studies, since 1992 archivist at the Region
Archives of Styria in charge of the State Archives, since 1997 delegated as representative for
Austria in the IIAS – International Institute for Archival Science of Trieste and Maribor, since
2007 member of the Standing Committee of the Historische Landeskommission of Styria. Since
the summer semester 2007 professor at the Institut für Österreichische Geschichtsforschung of
the University of Vienna, since 2009 also professor at the University of Graz.
Mag. ZDENKA SEMLIČ RAJH, archival councillor, majored at the Faculty of Arts
in Ljubljana in history. She completed her master’s degree at the same Faculty in the field of
librarian science. Since 1990, she is employed as archivist in the Regional Archives Maribor.
Her professional interest is in addition to theoretical questions archival profession, description of
archives and the design of classifications, headings and thesauri dedicated also to the translation
of professional archival literature.
